Senior Interior Designer (Luxury Residential and Commercial Projects)

The ideal candidate is a seasoned and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in high-end interiors, capable of leading projects from concept development through to final execution. This role requires a keen eye for design, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to coordinate with architects, consultants, and artisans to uphold the firm’s collaborative and forward-thinking design approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all phases of high-end residential and luxury commercial projects, from concept development through construction administration
• Develop and oversee detailed technical documentation, including space planning, lighting design, and comprehensive construction drawings.
• Spearhead the selection, specification, and procurement of FF&E, including bespoke custom millwork and high-end finishes
• Generate initial design concepts, hand sketches, and 3D visualizations to communicate design intent effectively.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors to maintain project timelines, budgets, and adherence to the overall design vision.
• Present design concepts, material selections, and project updates to clients and stakeholders
• Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture within the team.

Key Skills/Requirements:

• 7+ years of professional experience in interior design, with a strong focus on high-end residential and luxury commercial projects
• Expertise in industry-standard design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong ability to balance creative design vision with technical execution and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas persuasively and build lasting client relationships
• Proven track record of managing multiple complex projects while meeting allocated deadlines
• Extensive knowledge of materials, finishes, custom furniture, and millwork detailing
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, lighting designers, and construction professionals
