Senior Interior Designer (Residential Projects)

The Role:

Our client, an industry-leading architecture and design firm are seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join their team. This role focuses on residential projects across the studio overseeing both single and multi-family project typologies.  As a Senior Interior Designer, you will be leading the design process and with multiple junior and mid designers reporting to you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing innovative design concepts that align with client goals and project objectives
• Conducting thorough research on industry trends, materials, and techniques to stay updated and integrate them into design solutions
• Collaborating with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless coordination and execution of design plans
• Overseeing the selection and procurement of high-quality materials, furniture, fixtures, and equipment
• Managing and mentoring junior designers, providing feedback and fostering their professional growth
• Conducting site visits and inspections to ensure design intent is implemented accurately
• Participating in client meetings and presentations, effectively communicating design concepts and solutions
• Ensuring compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and standards throughout the design process
• Evaluating project progress, identifying potential challenges, and implementing proactive solutions to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Skills:

• Holds a relevant professional degree in Interior Design, Architecture or Interior Architecture
• Demonstrates a strong portfolio showcasing completed luxury residential projects
• Comfortable running multiple projects at a time
