Senior Interior Designer (San Francisco-Based)

About The Role:

Renowned for their solution-oriented approach that extends well beyond the scope of individual projects, our client is a distinguished architecture and design firm dedicated to delivering innovative and impactful design solutions. They are seeking to hire a San Francisco based Senior Interior Designer to join their dynamic team and work on an extensive scope of projects focused within the luxury residential and multifamily projects.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the design vision and execution of high-profile projects, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the full scope of luxury multifamily and residential projects from initial concept through final execution
  • Oversee and manage FF&E selections, procurement, and coordination
  • Work with contractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure alignment with the design vision
  • Produce detailed contract documents and ensure consistency and precision throughout the design documentation process
  • Mentor and support junior designers, fostering professional growth and contributing to a collaborative team environment
  • Lead site visits and construction walkthroughs, ensuring design intent is preserved and addressing any on-site challenges
  • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables

Key Skills/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field from an accredited university
  • 8+ years of professional experience, with a strong portfolio in luxury residential and multifamily design
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and 3D rendering tools, with the ability to produce high-quality visualizations and technical drawings
  • Expertise in FF&E procurement, joinery detailing, and custom millwork designs
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality design standards and meeting deadlines
