Senior Landscape Architect (Prime Residential Garden Design)

About The Role:

The Crowd is partnering with a refined landscape design studio in west London that are looking for a Senior Landscape Architect to join their team. The studio is known for its attention to detail and commitment to creating gardens that feel both opulent and unique.

As a Senior Landscape Architect, you will be leading the design process, working closely with clients to make their vision a reality. You will also be managing projects from start to finish and guiding a talented team of designers along the way. The ideal candidate would have at least 5 years’ experience working through design and technical drawing packages and have a passion for intricate and noteworthy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of high-end projects, paying close attention to detail through concept stages to technical design
• Act as a main point of contact for clients, building strong relationships, ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish
• Work closely with the design team, contractors, and consultants to bring the design to life
• Create detailed design packages, including SketchUp models, renders, and comprehensive technical drawings
• Help mentor and support junior team members
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and surpass client expectations

Key Skills/Requirements:

• Over 5 years’  of experience in landscape architecture is essential
• Experience within high-end residential garden design would be beneficial
• Solid skills in design software, including SketchUp and rendering tools
• Strong technical know-how, with the ability to create detailed and accurate technical drawings
• Excellent client-facing skills and possess confidence when presenting ideas and concepts
• A mix of artistic creativity and technical precision
• Experience managing projects from concept to completion
• Knowledge of landscape construction techniques and materials
