Senior Landscape Associate

Your responsibilities in this role include adding substance to early design concepts by engaging in thorough research, synthesis, and iterative refinement. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate throughout each phase on the design process from Schematic Design through Design Documentation
- Experience within Project Management and technical coordination
- Developing presentation materials such as conceptual plans, reports, diagrams, detailed design, and construction documents.
- Review of local building codes compliance within the preparation of drawing packages
- Direct project staffing and financial planning, aiding the Directors in assessing future project requirements and resource allocations.
- Maintain project-record filing
- Primary point of contact between client management
- Lead design and coordination meetings
Key Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in landscape architecture
- 8+ years of experience in design or project management for landscape architecture projects.
- Excellent coordination skills and ability to communicate design scope with team members, clients, and consultants.
- Experience in staff oversight of technical execution
- Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously
- Support team members in learning about building materials and construction technology, including materials and installation, technical detailing, and the progression of methods and materials.
- Experience working within master planning and site specific landscape project typologies
- High proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe AI/PSD/INDD
- Experience in Geographic Information Systems (preferred but not required)
- Experience within Revit and BIM (preferred but not required)
