Senior Landscape Associate

Your responsibilities in this role include adding substance to early design concepts by engaging in thorough research, synthesis, and iterative refinement. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate throughout each phase on the design process from Schematic Design through Design Documentation
• Experience within Project Management and technical coordination
• Developing presentation materials such as conceptual plans, reports, diagrams, detailed design, and construction documents.
• Review of local building codes compliance within the preparation of drawing packages
• Direct project staffing and financial planning, aiding the Directors in assessing future project requirements and resource allocations.
• Maintain project-record filing
• Primary point of contact between client management
• Lead design and coordination meetings

Key Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in landscape architecture
• 8+ years of experience in design or project management for landscape architecture projects.
• Excellent coordination skills and ability to communicate design scope with team members, clients, and consultants.
• Experience in staff oversight of technical execution
• Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously
• Support team members in learning about building materials and construction technology, including materials and installation, technical detailing, and the progression of methods and materials.
• Experience working within master planning and site specific landscape project typologies
• High proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe AI/PSD/INDD
• Experience in Geographic Information Systems (preferred but not required)
• Experience within Revit and BIM (preferred but not required)
