Senior Landscape Designer (Super Prime Residential)

About The Role:

We have partnered with a prestigious landscape design studio that specialise in the private sector within the super prime market in London. They are seeking a passionate, creative and forward-thinking Senior Landscape Designer to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a bespoke studio that focuses on one off a kind residential projects in London and throughout the UK with ultra-high-net-worth clients. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working on luxury, bespoke projects and a history of overseeing exclusive landscaping designs, coupled with a strong grasp of the technical and delivery aspects of the projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide design guidance by leading the conceptualisation and design of luxury landscape projects within super prime high-end residential properties
• Maintain a strong understanding of current trends, incorporating modern aesthetics and innovative solutions
• Collaborate and build strong relationships with clients in order to understand their vision, preferences, and project goals
• With prior project management experience, oversee the design process, from conceptual stages to technical delivery, with support from directors and the wider team
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative team environment
• Integrate sustainable practices into all projects, demonstrating a passion and understanding for sustainability design principles
• Stay updated on the latest trends in landscape design, materials, and technologies to continually enhance the quality and appeal of our projects
• Oversee all drawing documentation and specifications, and liaise with external contractors, engineers, and clients to ensure accuracy and clarity for seamless execution

Key Skills/Requirements:

• A degree in landscape architecture, landscape design, or architecture
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape design and/or garden design within high-end residential/luxury housing projects
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients, team members, and external partners
• Showcase a strong portfolio of landscape design within high-end residential projects or similar projects
• Strong proficiency within design software, technical understanding and Adobe Suite
• Exceptional creativity and design skills, with a focus on luxury and modern aesthetics
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong project management and organizational abilities
