Senior Sales Associate

The Role:

Our client, an established and high-end interiors brand, is looking for a Senior Sales Associate to join their successful team. Within this role, you will be focused on driving sales while managing new and existing customer accounts, assisting with enquiries and processing orders. You will also be responsible for building successful relationships and seeking new business opportunities, working alongside an ambitious sales team.

This is a perfect opportunity for an individual who is passionate about working within the high-quality, sustainable textile market and enjoys developing customer relationships and delivering outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with potential customers and interior designers weekly
  • Attend industry and networking events
  • Keep a record of sales, leads, and opportunities and follow up promptly
  • Build a list of potential sales and work towards monthly and yearly targets
  • Assist showroom visitors and demonstrate product knowledge
  • Respond to sales inquiries and process orders
  • Collaborate with all channels to ensure accurate and efficient order processing with good customer service
  • Maintain an accurate customer database
  • Manage the showroom and keep it presentable
  • Help the showroom team as needed, which may include Saturdays

Key Skills:

  • Previous sales experience, preferably in the luxury textile market
  • Knowledge of the UK and European interior design and hospitality market
  • Keen attention to detail and an eye for design, with a passion for interior design and fabrics
  • A creative mind that can recommend, suggest, and help customers
  • Sound understanding of material certification requirements for interior design and the hospitality market
  • Providing excellent customer service that is reflective of the studio’s values and customer conscious
  • Highly organized and able to meet deadlines by prioritizing and completing tasks to ensure excellent results
  • Collaborative with the team and external parties to ensure effective communication
  • Passionate about building customer relationships
  • Autonomously working with a driven and proactive approach
