Social Media Specialist

The Role:

Our client, an acclaimed interior design studio specializing in luxury residential work, is seeking a seasoned Social Media Specialist to help bring their impressive projects to life within the digital space. This is a highly autonomous role that tasks the right candidate with developing creative media collateral and crafting narratives around projects. This is a great fit for someone with a background in art direction and/or graphic design, who is also well-versed within an array of social media platforms. Expert knowledge of Instagram and social media analytics is essential for this role.

The position would involve working closely with designers, coordinating photo and video shoots, editing and scheduling content for publication, analysing social media data, and developing innovative strategies to increase brand awareness, Candidates with a background in design and/or architecture are highly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the creation of creative media collateral from start to finish
• Work collaboratively with designers and other team members to understand design intent and tell compelling stories about an array of projects
• Prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple creative projects simultaneously based on strict deadlines
• Craft paid and organic branded content across multiple platforms including Instagram and Tik Tok
• Develop new creative strategies over time for increasing brand awareness

Key Skills

• Strong photography and videography skills, from shooting to post-production
• Familiarity with Adobe Suite and Excel
• Previous experience launching successful paid and organic campaigns on Instagram (Tik Tok a plus)
• Previous experience with Google Ads and SEO/SEM a big plus
• Prior background in design, luxury retail, or architecture is highly beneficial, but not required
• Ability to oversee multiple projects at once and manage timelines / deadlines with minimal oversight
• Someone organized and communicative, with a strong team mentality and the ability to share ideas with an open mind
• Someone who appreciates a hands-on, creative environment
