Studio Assistant

The Role:

A forward thinking and innovative architecture practice are looking for a conscientious and creative Studio Assistant to help manage the smooth running of the studio and provide admin support for their friendly team. This is a varied and pivotal role as you will be working proactively to provide admin support and coordinate the day-to day activities within the studio.

The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in architecture and be confident in working on multiple tasks at any one time, taking the initiative to think on their feet. This role would suit someone with previous customer facing experience who is looking for an administration role within a successful architecture studio.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role at a passionate, social, and collaborative design studio where growth and development are encouraged. The company are looking for someone with the right attitude who can grow and evolve within the role, and this role is based 5 days a week in the studio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet all guests/team members in a welcoming and professional manner
  • Answering all calls and taking messages/transferring where appropriate
  • Provide support and assistance to the Directors including the coordination of their diaries
  • Help to coordinate and support all community engagement events
  • Manage marketing materials and look after social media and website administration
  • Provide project administration to the team
  • Manage stock levels of stationery and office supplies, ordering when necessary
  • Manage the day-to-day upkeep of the studio, ensuring that front of house is clean and well presented at all times

Key Skills:

  • Previous customer service/office management/admin experience is desirable
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress is advantageous but not essential
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills
  • A professional telephone manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • A positive, can-do attitude with meticulous attention to detail
