Studio Leader (K-12 Projects)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the strategic direction for K-12 projects, positioning the firm as a leader in the sector
• Build and strengthen relationships with school districts, private institutions, and key industry stakeholders
• Oversee the design, execution, and delivery of high-impact K-12 projects
• Develop and implement marketing strategies, proposals, and presentations to win new work
• Collaborate with state and local agencies to navigate school design regulations and approvals
• Mentor and inspire the studio’s growing team, fostering a culture of design excellence
• Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and thought leadership forums

Key Skills/Requirements:

• Licensed Architect with extensive experience in K-12 educational projects
• 10+ years of experience in architecture, including leadership in project management and business development
• Proven track record of winning new work and expanding market presence
• Deep understanding of state and regulatory requirements for K-12 school design
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
• Strong design sensibility and technical expertise, ensuring projects meet the highest standards
• Experience managing budgets, contracts, and project profitability
• Familiarity with Revit and sustainable design principles preferred
