Studio Leader (K-12 Projects)

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic direction for K-12 projects, positioning the firm as a leader in the sector
- Build and strengthen relationships with school districts, private institutions, and key industry stakeholders
- Oversee the design, execution, and delivery of high-impact K-12 projects
- Develop and implement marketing strategies, proposals, and presentations to win new work
- Collaborate with state and local agencies to navigate school design regulations and approvals
- Mentor and inspire the studio’s growing team, fostering a culture of design excellence
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and thought leadership forums
Key Skills/Requirements:
- Licensed Architect with extensive experience in K-12 educational projects
- 10+ years of experience in architecture, including leadership in project management and business development
- Proven track record of winning new work and expanding market presence
- Deep understanding of state and regulatory requirements for K-12 school design
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
- Strong design sensibility and technical expertise, ensuring projects meet the highest standards
- Experience managing budgets, contracts, and project profitability
- Familiarity with Revit and sustainable design principles preferred
