Studio Manager

The Role:

We are working with an established architectural practice in London seeking a highly organised Studio Manager to support and manage the studio operations, finance administration and people and culture processes.

Key Responsibility:

  • Manage all front of house teams, including line management reception
  • Manage all suppliers, facilities, planned/unplanned maintenance, and contracts ensuring budgets are followed, liaising with the Finance Team.
  • Manage all Health and Safety aspects of the practice
  • Oversee all reservations, accommodation and moves for the practice
  • Organise couriers, and internal events, including note taking and any ad hoc tasks as required.
  • Ensure archives systems are followed and maintained
  • Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the studio, reporting any issues to the Studio Chair
  • Assist with the recruitment process, from interviews to onboarding/inductions and yearly appraisal
  • Manage expenses and invoices, including coding and ensuring internal systems are up to date
  • Ensure all documentation is sent out and returned promptly

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management and positive demeanour
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality in a delicate matter
  • Strong initiative and proactive abilities
