Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement sustainability goals across a diverse range of projects, integrating cutting-edge environmental strategies.
- Advise design teams and clients on best practices in carbon reduction, energy efficiency, and environmental resilience.
- Lead internal and external training sessions, presentations, and workshops to drive awareness and adoption of sustainability initiatives.
- Provide oversight and expertise on third-party certifications, including LEED, WELL, and other industry standards.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in sustainable materials, building systems, and performance-driven design.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure sustainability is at the forefront of project development.
Key Skills/Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in sustainability within the architecture, engineering, or construction sectors
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Environmental Studies, or a related field
- Deep understanding of green building certifications, benchmarking systems, and environmental performance metrics
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent communication abilities, with experience in delivering presentations and training sessions
- Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration across teams
- Experience with carbon sequestration, energy modelling, or environmental impact assessment is a plus
- Willingness to travel as needed for project engagement and industry events
