Lead Designer (Revit & Experiential)
About The Role:
Our client, an international and experiential design studio that works collaboratively on innovative projects, is seeking an ideas- driven Lead Designer to join their lively team in central London.
Working alongside like-minded architects and interior designers, the ideal candidate will bring a positive, solutions-focused attitude, strong communication and presentation skills, and an fresh design outlook. You will contribute to exhibition, entertainment and cultural projects, blending experiential and narrative-driven designs that inspire and enhance user experience. The ideal candidate will be a designer through and through, with an eye for innovative design development as well as a strong technical and logistical understanding throughout the entire process.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop design solutions to architecturally and spatially challenge and analyse design issues
- Propose creative yet practical responses that meet client needs, site conditions and regulatory requirements
- Research project briefs, materials, and construction methods and be up to date with industry standards
- Interpret briefs and evaluate suitable materials and systems that support the projects sustainability, performance, and cost objectives
- Prepare clear, accurate design documentation that complies with current regulations and supports each project stage
- Produce visuals and supporting documents for meetings and reviews, refining them based on coordination with clients, team members and external consultants
- Participate in design discussions and coordinate effectively with external teams to ensure cohesive project delivery
- Organise documentation and drawing packages, following internal protocols and timelines
- Use a variety of media in the development and documentation of a design project
- Effective management and motivation of junior staff including a commitment to mentor and develop their skills
Key Skills/Requirements:
- A qualification in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or equivalent is required
- Proficiency with Revit is essential
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong verbal and visual communication skills in English
- A motivated and enthusiastic mindset with a hands-on approach to solutions
- Comfortable engaging in early stage conceptual and spatial design development
- Proven experience in delivery of projects
- Prior experience working on cultural projects, public realm, exhibitions or entertainment
