Senior Interior Designer (Residential) (12 Month FTC)

About the Role

Our client, a leading name in the luxury residential and hospitality design industry, is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Based in either their London or Bristol studio, this is a fantastic opportunity to work within a highly regarded multidisciplinary practice known for creating timeless, elegant interiors across the UK and internationally.

As a Senior Interior Designer, you will contribute to the creative direction and delivery of multiple high-end projects. You will oversee design stages from concept to completion, mentor junior designers, and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring every project reflects the studio’s refined design ethos.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead client presentations and confidently communicate design intent to ensure smooth sign-offs
• Oversee the preparation and accuracy of design documentation and specifications
• Research and select materials and finishes aligned with the project concept and budget
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and consultants
• Ensure efficient coordination between internal teams and external stakeholders
• Manage workflow effectively to meet deadlines and maintain project quality

Key Skills/Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of experience within luxury residential and/or hospitality design
• Strong understanding of RIBA project stages and the FF&E process
• Proven experience leading projects through all design stages
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft Office
• Confident free-hand sketching skills
