Junior Designer (Retrofit Projects)

About The Role:

A creative, design-led studio based in London is looking for a Junior Designer to join their social and supportive team, working on a range of exciting commercial / workplace projects in the new year.

You will be supporting the project team across a variety of live projects, gaining hands-on experience in both the creative and technical aspects of design. This is an ideal role for someone keen to build a strong foundation within a design studio. Prior experience working on commercial / workplace projects would be highly desirable, however not essential.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a successful and fast-expanding company that has a fresh approach to design, an exciting project pipeline, and a tight-knit team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with design development, research and presentation work
  • Help prepare mood boards, drawing packs, and sample sourcing
  • Support FF&E specification and documentation
  • Work collaboratively with the design team on day-to-day project tasks

Key Skills / Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 1-2+ years’ experience working within a professional design studio, with experience in commercial / workplace projects being a plus
  • Proficiency in Autocad is necessary with exposure to Revit being beneficial
  • A proactive and collaborative attitude, comfortable working autonomously and part of a team
