Studio Operations & Finance Coordinator

About The Role:

The Crowd is partnering with a highly regarded architecture and design studio known for its thoughtful, collaborative approach and refined body of work across residential, hospitality, and cultural projects. This firm is seeking a Studio Operations & Finance Coordinator to support the day-to-day rhythm of the studio.

This is a hands-on, highly trusted role ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats across finance, operations, and office management. Working closely with senior leadership, this individual will help keep internal systems running smoothly – from financial administration and facilities coordination to scheduling, IT support, and general studio operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership in a five-days-in-office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support financial and administrative operations, including payroll coordination, accounts payable/receivable, expense tracking, and internal reporting
  • Partner closely with senior leadership to assist with budgeting oversight, vendor management, and operational planning
  • Oversee daily office operations, including facilities coordination, supplies, shipping/receiving, and maintaining a polished studio environment
  • Manage scheduling, calendars, travel arrangements, and internal meetings for staff and external collaborators
  • Act as a point person for basic IT and technology needs, liaising with external vendors and supporting onboarding/offboarding processes

Key Skills / Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in business operations, office management, finance, or administrative roles – experience in architecture, design, or professional services strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge and prior experience using accounting or payroll systems
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Comfortable handling basic IT coordination and working with external technology providers
  • Collaborative, discreet, and solutions-oriented, with strong written and verbal communication skills
