Mid-Weight Designer / Architect (Retrofit Projects + Revit)

About The Role:

A creative, design-led studio based in London is seeking a Midweight Designer/Architect with Revit proficiency to join its social and supportive team, working on a range of exciting workplace/ retrofit projects in London.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering and coordinating workplace and retrofit projects across London and will play a pivotal role in liaising with consultants on projects from Stages 3–5. This is an excellent opportunity for someone keen to build a strong foundation within a design studio. Prior experience working on commercial and workplace projects is essential, along with experience across Stages 4–5.

Key Responsibilities:

• Closely working with the Project Director to deliver large-scale commercial projects
• Liaise with consultants and the wider project team
• Help the wider team to deliver projects through tender and constructions stages
• Work with the wider team to lead and manage the project through design stages to technical drawing production
• Present design concept to clients and external consultants
• Provide expertise within FF&E specifications and show a strong interest in emerging trends within commercial projects

Key Skills / Requirements:

• At least 3 years’ experience with strong exposure to UK retrofit/ commercial projects.
• Proficiency in Revit is essential for this role
• Knowledge of UK building regulations and UK planning processes is highly beneficial
• Strong technical understanding through construction stages
• Experienced in liaising with project teams and external consultants
• Strong team player with a positive and collaborative approach
