Senior Graphic Designer

About The Role:

Our client, a forward-thinking experiential design studio, is looking for a skilful and imaginative team player to join them as a Senior Graphic Designer.

This role focuses on creating 2D works for interior, architecture, and art-installation projects. The ideal candidate would bring a passion for storytelling through design, a capability to lead a team, and experience working on projects from concept development through to install.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work directly with the client to understand the project scope and design intent
• Develop meaningful design narratives based on the client’s needs and vision
• Design graphic elements for a multitude of project typologies ranging from murals, brand development, motion, experience, print among many others
• Present these concepts and ideations to other staff and to client
• Collaborate and coordinate with internal and external team members and consultants to see the project to fruition
• Provide mentorship to junior team members

Key Skills / Requirements:

• 5+ years of previous experience in a graphic design role
• Ability to develop and hone unique design concepts through ideation
• Client-facing project experience
• Ability to articulate complex design ideas to clients using approachable language
• An imaginative mindset, willing to be explorative in their work
• Someone who is comfortable working autonomously in a relaxed and flexible office environment
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
