Midweight Hospitality Interior Designer

About The Role:

Our client is a highly respected design studio known for delivering refined and imaginative interiors across the hospitality and high-end residential sectors. With a distinctive approach to texture, pattern, and detail, they craft immersive environments that feel both thoughtfully curated and design forward.

They are currently looking to bring on a talented and motivated Midweight Interior Designer, with a focus on elevated hospitality and restaurant projects. This role offers the opportunity to be involved throughout the full design lifecycle – from early concept development through to construction administration – on high-profile projects across the globe.

This position is well suited to a designer who combines strong technical expertise with a refined design sensibility and a sharp attention to detail, and who is eager to continue developing within a highly regarded, design-led studio. Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute across all project phases, from concept through to construction administration
  • Develop and manage FF&E packages, including sourcing, specifications, and coordination with procurement teams
  • Produce detailed design documentation and conceptual drawings using AutoCAD and related software
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, vendors, and consultants throughout each stage of the project
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure a cohesive and consistent design vision
  • Represent the studio confidently in client meetings, presentations, and site visits

Key Skills / Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related discipline from an accredited program
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience, with a strong focus on hospitality interiors
  • Solid knowledge of FF&E, custom millwork, and construction documentation
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp; hand sketching and rendering abilities are a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, proactive approach
