HR Manager (Architecture)

About The Role:

A large, highly successful international architecture practice is seeking a well-rounded HR Manager to join its London office on a permanent basis.

You will play a key role in delivering a strong people strategy across the practice with the support of a coordinator. Working closely with the board and wider leadership team internationally, this role is both strategic and hands-on, with a generalist remit across the full employee lifecycle. Our client is seeking a collaborative, forward-thinking individual with a passion for the creative industry.

Note: this role is based full-time in office in their central London location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic people partner to leadership, driving initiatives aligned with business goals
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance and offboarding
  • Lead on employee relations, ensuring best practice and compliance with UK employment law
  • Oversee compensation, benefits, People data and immigration processes
  • Deliver learning and development initiatives and support employee engagement
  • Monitor and report on People metrics, providing insights to senior leadership
  • Collaborate with global teams and contribute to wider People strategy
  • Line manage and develop a HR Coordinator

Key Skills / Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior HR/People generalist role, ideally within a creative or project based fast-paced environment
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified (Level 7 advantageous)
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment and immigration law
  • Experience in an international organisation is advantageous
  • Data-driven with strong analytical and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
