Senior Project Architect / Project Lead

About the Role:

A highly regarded architecture and interiors practice is seeking a Senior Project Architect / Project Lead to join its growing New York studio. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced architect who enjoys balancing design, project leadership, and technical delivery while working on a diverse range of complex projects.

With a strong pipeline of projects and continued growth, they are looking for someone who can take ownership of projects, mentor junior team members, and play a visible role within a collaborative and ambitious team.

This role is full time in office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead projects through all phases, from concept design through construction administration
• Manage project teams, consultants, and client relationships to ensure successful project delivery
• Oversee project schedules, coordination, and technical documentation
• Mentor and support junior team members while contributing to a positive studio culture
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership on project strategy, design development, and execution

Key Skills / Requirements:

• 8-15+ years of professional architectural experience
• Proven experience delivering complex architectural projects through all project phases
• Strong technical and construction documentation skills with advanced Revit proficiency
• Experience coordinating consultants, managing project teams, and interfacing with clients
• Collaborative, proactive, and detail-oriented approach with strong communication skills
