In return, the studio offers the opportunity to work on design-forward hospitality projects alongside a talented team, with a competitive compensation package, comprehensive benefits, hybrid flexibility, and clear opportunities for continued professional advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of luxury hospitality projects from concept through completion
- Establish and maintain the creative direction of projects while ensuring alignment with client goals and operational requirements
- Develop design concepts, visual presentations, material palettes, and project narratives
- Guide project teams through all phases of design
- Create and refine 3D studies and design visualizations using SketchUp or Rhino
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, operators, and vendors throughout the design process
- Oversee space planning and guest experience considerations to create thoughtful and engaging environments
- Manage the development and coordination of FF&E packages, including specifications, sourcing, and custom design elements
- Review construction drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals to ensure design intent is maintained
- Participate in client meetings and presentations, effectively communicating design solutions and project progress
- Support project delivery through construction administration and installation phases
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to junior members of the design team
- Contribute to the ongoing growth of the studio through collaboration, innovation, and design excellence
Key Skills / Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from an accredited university
- 8 – 10 years of professional interior design experience
- Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate hospitality design experience is a must have (demonstrated experience working on hotel projects is essential)
- Proven track record of leading hospitality projects and guiding creative direction across multiple project phases
- Strong understanding of luxury hospitality design and guest-focused environments
- Extensive experience with FF&E development, specification writing, and procurement coordination
- Proficiency in SketchUp or Rhino required
- Revit experience preferred, though not required
- Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, custom furnishings, and interior detailing
- Experience coordinating with consultants and multidisciplinary project teams
