Senior Architect (Aviation)

About The Role:

We are working with a global design studio seeking a Senior Architect with strong technical and design capability to join their team working on an innovative airport project. This role offers the opportunity to support the development of design solutions, producing high-quality presentations, and delivering detailed technical packages within a collaborative project team.

Exposure to aviation projects is essential for the role alongside experience working on award-winning schemes both in the UK and internationally. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with architects, engineers, planners, and specialist consultants and to join a forward-thinking studio known for delivering complex international projects.

This position is initially offered as a 6-month fixed-term contract, with strong potential to become a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the design and delivery of aviation projects
• Develop high-quality drawings and technical packages across multiple project stages
• Coordinate closely with architects, engineers, consultants, and specialist teams to ensure design intent is maintained throughout project development
• Support project planning, documentation, and the organisation of deliverables
• Manage and coordinate BIM and Revit models within multidisciplinary project teams

Key Skills / Experience:

• Excellent design / technical knowledge and experience
• 10+ years of experience with the aviation sector
• Masters in Architecture or Registered ARB Architect or overseas equivalent
• Experience working in large teams on complex projects
• Demonstrate a sound knowledge of construction and building legislation
• Excellent concept and presentation skills
• Exposure to large scale BIM Models
• Excellent software skills including Revit, Rhino and Enscape
