BIM Coordinator

About The Role:

An internationally renowned architecture practice is seeking a BIM Coordinator to join its New York studio, playing a key role in supporting the delivery of large-scale, technically complex projects. Sitting at the intersection of design, technology, and project delivery, this position will help drive the implementation and integration of BIM processes across all phases of project delivery.

This role is ideally suited to someone with a strong architectural or digital delivery background who enjoys optimizing workflows, solving technical challenges, and advancing BIM best practices. Working closely with architects and project teams, you will help enhance model quality, improve project efficiency, and contribute to the continued evolution of the studio’s digital design capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation and coordination of BIM workflows across large-scale architectural projects
  • Develop and maintain project BIM standards, protocols, and documentation requirements
  • Assist project teams with model coordination, QA/QC reviews, and digital delivery processes
  • Facilitate onboarding and ongoing support for project teams to ensure alignment with BIM standards and best practices
  • Coordinate with consultants and multidisciplinary teams to maintain model integrity and project consistency
  • Contribute to clash detection, data management, reporting, and digital coordination workflows
  • Support the integration of cloud-based collaboration tools and emerging design technologies
  • Partner with internal technology teams to improve processes and strengthen project delivery standards

Key Skills / Requirements:

  • 5–7 years of professional experience within architecture, BIM, digital delivery, or design technology environments
  • Strong working knowledge of Revit and BIM coordination processes across design and documentation phases
  • Experience with digital coordination tools and workflow platforms such as Dynamo, Navisworks, and cloud collaboration environments preferred
  • Understanding of construction documentation, project delivery, and multidisciplinary coordination processes
  • Experience working on large-scale or technically complex architectural projects highly desirable
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to support and influence project teams
  • Interest in emerging technologies, process improvement, and innovation within architecture and design delivery
