Senior Landscape Architect/Project Manager
About the Role:
The Crowd is working with a well-established landscape architecture studio in Los Angeles that is looking for a Senior Landscape Architect/Project Manager to join its team.
The studio works on some beautiful high-end residential projects, from private gardens to large estates across Southern California. They have a great reputation for their design work and are a close-knit, friendly team who genuinely enjoy what they do.
This is a great opportunity for someone who loves design but also enjoys running projects and working with clients. You’ll work closely with the principals, have plenty of responsibility and the chance to really make your mark on the studio. There’s also good scope to grow with the business and take on more responsibility as the team develops.
Our client offers a strong benefits package, including flexible working arrangements, medical and dental coverage and a 401(k) match.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead high-end residential landscape projects from initial design through to construction.
- Manage and support a small team of designers, helping with design development and technical delivery.
- Work directly with clients, architects, consultants and contractors throughout the project.
- Oversee drawings, documentation, permitting and construction, including signing and stamping plans.
- Keep projects running smoothly, managing timelines, budgets and deliverables.
Key Skills/Requirements:
- 8+ years of landscape architecture experience, ideally with a strong background in high-end private residential projects.
- California-licensed Landscape Architect, with experience signing and stamping drawings.
- Previous experience managing projects and leading a team.
- A good design eye, strong technical knowledge and a solid understanding of Southern California planting and construction.
- Confident using AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite. SketchUp would be a bonus.
