Account Manager

The Role:

A highly successful and innovative furniture design studio are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their new London gallery.

Within this role you will build and nurture client relationships and sales opportunities for the UK and potentially Europe and the Middle East.

The ideal candidate will be charismatic, driven, and ambitious and will have proven sales experience within the interior design/furniture/luxury goods industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Main client service representative for the allocated sales territories
  • Mange client orders, following the process via Salesforce and managing communication with clients/teams across quoting, invoicing, production, billing, delivery, etc.
  • Consistently and strategically grow business in territories
  • Become an expert in the company’s product and brand, giving knowledge and inspiration to clients/designers/architects
  • Monitor KPI’s and develop strategies to achieve goals across sales numbers, outreach, order updates, etc.
  • Be a consistent presence in the London gallery, walking clients through collections and exploring needs and solutions
  • Ensure a seamless client experience is provided through warmth, excellent communication, accuracy and responsiveness
  • Use reporting tools to manage client business, areas of improvement/opportunity and create outreach strategies to optimise territory sales
  • Closely liaise with the Gallery Manager and Account Managers to mentor and delegate tasks for Sales Assistants
  • Suggest strategic areas of improvement across processes/streamlining/etc
  • Assist the sales team to ensure a pristine client experience, positive development and delivery solutions are maintained and sales targets are met/succeeded

Key Skills:

  • Previous sales and client management experience within the furniture/interiors/luxury goods industry
  • Confident selling in the contemporary design space and a genuine appreciation for the industry
  • Self starter with a team-focused sales approach working towards a common goal for the business
  • Efficient and personable with a calming approach
  • Excellent time management and communication skills with the ability to work under pressure
  • Strong aesthetic, well-presented and strong presentation skills with an eye for detail
