Architect

The Role:

A globally renowned architecture practice, with a strong presence across multiple continents, are actively seeking Architects with a proven track record in the dynamic field of hospitality and hotel design to join their thriving studio located in the heart of London.

Within this role, you will be responsible for providing invaluable support in the design process of small to mid-sized projects, while actively contributing to the development of project design and the production of presentation drawings and sketches. Your expertise will also be instrumental in resolving design intricacies and ensuring seamless completion of various project phases.

This is a perfect opportunity for individuals with substantial experience in luxury residential, hotel, and/or mixed-use projects. Collaborating closely with the broader architectural team, this role requires exceptional conceptualisation and design skills to assist with projects spanning from initial stages to the planning phase. Key Responsibilities:

  • Confidently produce CD, SD & DD packages while incorporating design intent
  • Modify and review drawings to ensure accuracy and design integrity
  • Develop a deep understanding of project requirements across all phases
  • Explore innovative concepts and techniques for design solutions
  • Complete tasks within set deadlines and budgets, optimizing resource utilization
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and project teams
  • Prepare, manage, and modify architectural documents, including elevations, sections, and details
  • Offer technical and design solutions while adhering to established standards
  • Integrate sustainable design principles into projects

Key Skills:

  • Qualified Architect with a focus on luxury hospitality, hotels, and high-end retail/mixed-use projects
  • Proven experience in relevant sectors
  • Proficient in Rhino and AutoCAD is essential
  • Strong visualisation skills with Revit proficiency preferred
  • Confident working effectively in a team and meeting deadlines consistently
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Previous experience in an international practice advantageous
