About The Role:

An established, design-led architecture and interiors studio in New York is seeking an Associate-level Interior Architect to join its commercial and corporate interiors practice. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional ready to step into a visible leadership position within a studio known for its thoughtful, context-driven work and refined approach to contemporary interiors.

The Associate will play a critical role in guiding projects from early concept through construction, serving as a design and technical leader while mentoring teams and collaborating closely with firm leadership. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide design and technical leadership across multiple commercial and corporate interior projects
• Oversee projects through all phases, including concept design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration
• Guide and mentor project teams, fostering quality, consistency, and professional development
• Drive design direction while ensuring projects meet technical, budgetary, and scheduling requirements
• Lead consultant coordination and interface confidently with clients and external stakeholders
• Maintain a high standard of Revit-based documentation and uphold internal modelling and drawing standards
• Review drawing sets and details for quality, accuracy, and constructability
• Apply strong architectural judgment related to detailing, materials, interior systems, and code compliance
• Support studio leadership through project oversight, team coordination, and strategic problem-solving

Key Skills / Requirements:

• Professional degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture
• 10+ years of professional experience, with a strong focus on commercial and corporate interiors
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex interior projects in a U.S. studio environment
• Advanced proficiency in Revit; strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Familiarity with SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam is preferred
• Strong design sensibility paired with technical depth and attention to detail
• Confident communicator with a collaborative, mentorship-oriented leadership style
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, design-forward studio setting
