About The Role:

Our client, a highly regarded architecture practice, is opening the doors of its purpose-built studio in a prime central London location and is seeking a proactive, experienced, and motivated Associate to join the team.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading project delivery with strong organisational, technical, and creative capabilities – overseeing design production and ensuring projects meet project timelines. The role involves motivating and supporting teams, nurturing a positive studio culture, and contributing to wider leadership through effective communication, resource planning, and professional development. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project delivery with strong organisational, time-management, and project leadership skills, ensuring work meets quality, cost, and programme targets
  • Lead and mentor team members, fostering a positive, collaborative studio culture and supporting skills development
  • Act as a key client-facing representative, managing briefs, negotiations, technical queries, contract administration, and project documentation
  • Support senior leadership through coordinated reporting, resource planning, workflow management, and review of design outputs and deliverables
  • Bring advanced technical expertise across fabrication, construction processes, and design standards while maintaining relationships with suppliers and specialist consultants

Key Skills/Requirements:

  • A master’s degree in architecture, interior architecture or interior design is required for the role
  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience working on large-scale projects
  • Strong proficiency in Revit and Rhino is essential for the role
  • Prior involvement in international projects is desirable
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects from concept through to technical delivery is essential
  • Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate effectively with external consultants
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with team leadership and client-facing duties is an advantage
