Associate Sustainability Consultant

The Role:

We are currently representing a prominent international design practice who are dominating their field on a global scale in their search for an Associate Sustainability Consultant to join their London team.

As our client continues to grow due to their healthy project pipeline, they require a solid and confident associate level professional to help guide and advise within areas of net zero strategies and climate emergency plans for building and master planning design. The role will manage a strong team of consultants while working closely with the senior leadership team, and therefore requires someone who has confidence and enjoys mentoring a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support large sustainability projects and services
  • Manage a project portfolio and contribute to new service development
  • Lead projects and mentor junior team members
  • Provide technical guidance and analysis to shape sustainability strategies
  • Facilitate client workshops
  • Produce high-quality written comments, reports, and presentations
  • Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams and represent projects in meetings with various stakeholders
  • Develop external presentations for outreach and business development

Key Skills:

  • Relevant engineering or sustainability degree
  • Adeptness in sustainable design techniques and UK planning processes
  • Proven track record in analysing technical data and devising responsive strategies
  • Proficient in creating top-tier graphical and written outputs
  • Holds sustainability assessment qualifications such as BREEAM or WELL
  • Confident in facilitation and collaborative teamwork
  • A genuine passion for human-centric outcomes and equitable value distribution within the built environment
