Bid Coordinator

The Role:

The ideal person for this role will come with 2-4 years of experience in preparing and coordinating bid submissions. They will be used to working to tight deadlines whilst dealing with large amounts of information.

The purpose of this role will be to manage and coordinate the production of professional bids, submissions and RFPs in liaison with the Bid Manager, Directors and others where relevant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce and deliver high-quality bid documents including competition entries and proposals
  • Coordinate input from internal and external parties and set the programme to ensure bid deadlines are met
  • Manage the opportunity database/filing system, and the reporting of key findings
  • Maintain the reference library of information for use in tenders
  • Write copy for proposals, and compile and present information into comprehensive documents with a strong graphic presence
  • Develop InDesign presentations for meetings and presentations

Key Skills:

  • An understanding of the design and procurement process
  • Previous bids experience within the built environment
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills, as well as a talent for writing concisely and clearly.
  • Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop and InDesign.
