Business Development Assistant (Interior Design)
About The Role:
The Crowd is excited to be partnering with a globally recognized design studio celebrated for its work across luxury hospitality, residential, and commercial interiors. Known for delivering thoughtful, high-impact design on a global scale, this firm is continuing to grow and is seeking a Business Development Assistant to support its New York office.
This is a full-time, hybrid position and is ideal for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional early in their career who is eager to gain exposure to both business development and proposals within a fast-paced creative environment. You’ll play a key role in supporting new business efforts – helping to coordinate proposals, maintain internal systems, and contribute to the overall pursuit strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the coordination and production of proposals, ensuring materials are accurate, on-brand, and delivered on time
- Maintain and update CRM systems, tracking leads, pursuits, and client engagement activity
- Assist with pipeline tracking and reporting to support business development strategy and decision-making
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather content, visuals, and information for proposals and presentations
- Contribute to business development initiatives, including preparing materials for meetings, outreach, and industry events
Key Skills/Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in business development, proposals, marketing, or a related role (experience within design, architecture, or professional services is a plus)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a polished and professional approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Word and Excel); experience with CRM platforms is a plus
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn within a collaborative, fast-paced environment
