Design Manager

About The Role:

The Crowd is exclusively partnered with a progressive and ambitious design studio that is seeking a results-driven Design Manager with a strong architectural background to lead the coordination and delivery of an ultra-prime UK residential project.

You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between all stakeholders and coordinating the project across design and technical disciplines – from managing consultant input to overseeing site progress and resolving issues in real time. With a strong architectural foundation, you will bring deep technical knowledge, contractual awareness, and a clear understanding of project delivery within a high-spec hospitality or residential environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead coordination of Stage 3+ design packages
• Manage consultants, internal design teams, and site interfaces
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of contracts and project delivery
• Resolve technical and on-site issues while maintaining design integrity
• Track programme milestones and manage contractual deliverables
• Safeguard the design vision through to technical execution
• Lead and contribute to regular progress meetings

Key Skills/Requirements:

• Proven experience in architecture with a focus on delivery
• Strong background in hospitality fit-outs or ultra-prime residential projects
• Excellent technical knowledge and coordination skills
• On-site project experience is essential
• Solid understanding of contractual frameworks and consultant management
• Proficiency in Revit preferred
• Proactive, collaborative with a solutions-driven mindset
