Head of Interiors

The Role:

An international developer is seeking a refined and enthusiastic Head of Interior Design to join their design-led team that are based on the island. This business is a luxury development company who have designed and developed a one-of-a-kind private villa estate on Ibiza.

Through bespoke architecture and interior design, the team is looking for a Head of Interior Design to provide a consultative and tailored approach when guiding high-net worth clients through the design process. With previous experience working on high-end, private residential and/or hospitality projects, you would be responsible for the FF&E of private residential villas. This luxurious oasis of beauty that embodies spirituality, serenity and a bespoke architectural vision is in collaboration with numerous internationally renowned architects and designers and has gained press coverage on an international scale.

The ideal candidate would be confident in client facing roles with meticulous presentational skills that showcase a passion towards luxury interior projects and a real understanding for the client brief. Working with existing clients on coordinating all interior aspects of built villas, you would also be responsible for successful pitching to new clients.

Please note in order to provide an in-depth design service to both the clients and the existing team, the successful candidate would need to either be based in Ibiza or be able to relocate to the island.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the FF&E department, collaborating with a skilled team to efficiently manage furniture, fixtures, and equipment on existing and future villas
• Create proposals to clients of full FF&E looks for each villa
• Work with existing architects on proposals for the styling of the FF&E interiors
• Take charge of engaging with existing clients during initial design stages to final completion through a bespoke and tailored approach
• Confidently pitch design concepts to potential clients and serve as the primary interiors consultant within the company
• Foster and nurture client relationships on the island to facilitate future refurbishment and redesign projects
• Demonstrate a comprehensive comprehension of contemporary trades tailored to individual client needs
• Develop solutions and offer guidance to the broader team to enhance overall effectiveness
• Assist clients in moving into each villa
• Oversee snagging of villas as they are completed
• Work closely with both the design & construction team on villa perfection and delivery

Key Skills

• Extensive background in high-end private residential and hospitality projects, spanning a minimum of 5 years
• Demonstrate expertise in luxury residential and/or hospitality projects
• Collaborative and personable team player with a proactive approach
• Ideal for individuals keen on personal and professional growth within a dynamic setting
• EU residency is a prerequisite
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish is essential
• Strong attention to detail
• Polished and refined in your approach
• Able to communicate well with people at all levels
