Healthcare Principal/Associate Principal

About The Role:

A global architecture and design firm is seeking a Healthcare Principal or Associate Principal to join their Dallas office and lead a transformative healthcare campus project already in motion.

This is an opportunity to shape the future of healthcare environments at scale, working closely with visionary clients, interdisciplinary teams, and external collaborators to deliver spaces that elevate the human experience. You will lead project strategy, champion design excellence, and foster a collaborative culture that drives innovation across every phase of delivery.

Beyond the immediate project, you will play a key role in expanding the healthcare practice across the region, mentoring future leaders, and helping redefine what healthcare spaces can be.

This is more than a project leadership role, it’s a chance to help reimagine healthcare design for the next generation and build lasting impact within a globally recognized firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the vision, strategy, and delivery of a landmark pediatric healthcare project
• Partner with clients and communities to deliver human-centered design solutions
• Inspire and mentor cross-disciplinary teams, championing a culture of creativity and collaboration
• Foster strong partnerships with external consultants and stakeholders to drive project success
• Support the broader growth of the healthcare practice through thought leadership, business development, and innovation initiatives

Key Skills/Requirements:

• 15+ years of healthcare architecture experience; pediatric and large-scale project experience highly valued
• Strong design sensibility combined with deep technical expertise
• Executive-level leadership skills with the ability to guide clients, teams, and complex projects with clarity and inspiration
• Licensed architect preferred; Principal-level leadership experience essential
• A passion for creating spaces that improve lives and foster community wellbeing
