HR Coordinator

The Role:

A social, friendly, and esteemed, mid-sized architecture studio, renowned for its impactful and design-led projects worldwide, are seeking a HR Coordinator to join their team in west London.

You will work closely with the Operations Manager and Head of HR to support with the full employee lifecycle and HR/admin functions. The role will contribute towards planning, implementation, and evaluation of HR policies, programs, recruitment, onboarding, company events and more. This is a varied role incorporating HR and administration, and is an opportunity for someone with previous knowledge and proven experience of HR.

Please note, this role requires you to be in the studio five days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the recruitment process including orientations, onboarding, and offboarding
  • Participate in change management initiatives
  • Be a go to person for queries in relation to compensation, benefits etc
  • Collect and update payroll information, and forward to the head of department
  • Contribute to the regular review of employment policies and procedures
  • Assist in driving the employee review process and training programs
  • Contribute to the programming of staff socials and office-wide events
  • Oversee right to work checks and maintain compliance
  • Support company culture and recognition programs
  • Stay updated on employee legislation, HR best practices
  • Ad hoc HR and admin tasks

Key Skills:

  • Solid HR experience, CIPD qualifications preferred
  • Strong understanding on HR best practices and current employment law
  • Proven experience working across all recruitment functions
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and sound judgment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Social, friendly and a collaborative nature
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Office suite
