HR Manager

The Role:

A leading international design agency are looking for an organised HR Manager from a creative background to join their London team ASAP on a part-time basis 20-24 hours per week.

This role is responsible for managing the full HR function for the UK office, supporting the Partners and the wider team with all HR related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage internal HR systems and processes
  • Manage visa applications
  • Manage the employee lifecycle, including the full hiring process and managing leavers
  • Work closely with external recruitment agencies and fee negotiation
  • Manage staff benefits including salary and benefit benchmarking
  • Ensure policies and procedures up to date and legal requirements are adhered to
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure payroll is processed correctly, including annual leave, statutory pay, absences etc
  • Responsible for compliance and governance across all HR and employee relations
  • Act as the main point of contact for HR, providing sound HR support and assistance across the company, with the access of an external HR source
  • Responsible for GDPR compliance
  • Keep up to date with employment laws, compliance and industry standards
  • Ad-hoc HR duties and reporting

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience within a similar role in the creative sector (preferably 5+ years’ experience)
  • Full understanding of UK employment law, HR functions and best practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to prioritise with excellent time management skills
  • Approachable and able to deal with any employee issues calmly and swiftly
  • Strong organisational skills, keen eye for detail and a proactive approach
