Intermediate and Advanced Hospitality Interior Designers

The Role:

The Crowd are currently working with a prominent interdisciplinary design firm based in Manhattan that is dominating the industry with their pioneering approach to design. They are in search of adept and imaginative Intermediate and Advanced Interior Designers with solid experience in the hospitality sector.

The emphasis on collaborative efforts is central to their approach, and they are currently in search of ambitious designers to join their distinguished team.

Within this role, you will assist the creative efforts of hospitality centered designs from concept through construction administration and play an active role in the firm’s project engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and assist through the full scope of hospitality projects, from initial concept through construction administration
  • Prepare design specifications including FF&E packages, space planning, lighting, and layouts
  • Generate preliminary design sketches using CAD software to produce 3D visualizations illustrating the proposed floor plan layout, elevations, and building façade
  • Communicate with clients while managing expectations
  • Create a project schedule and provide budget evaluations for design and construction expenditures
  • Safeguard quality control and uphold office standards throughout documentation

 Key Skills:

  • Strong experience within the interior hospitality sector
  • Advanced skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Rhino and other software programs
  • Strong demonstration of technical and creative skillset
  • Robust interpersonal skills, capable of mentoring junior designers and participating harmoniously in projects alongside senior designers
  • Ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment
