They are currently seeking an Intermediate Architectural Designer to join their growing New York team. This opportunity is ideal for a well-rounded architectural professional with experience working on large-scale renovations, adaptive reuse projects, or multifamily developments. You will work closely with project leadership across all phases of design and delivery, contributing to technically complex projects that prioritize sustainability, innovation, and long-term community impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of large-scale renovation, rehabilitation, and multifamily projects from early planning through construction administration
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Project Architects, consultants, and wider project teams to develop coordinated design and technical solutions
  • Contribute to the production of design documentation across all project phases, including Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documentation
  • Develop and maintain BIM models while ensuring project information is coordinated, accurate, and aligned with project requirements
  • Assist with construction administration activities, including site visits, contractor coordination, submittal reviews, and project documentation

Key Skills / Requirements:

  • 5–7 years of professional architectural experience, ideally including rehabilitation, adaptive reuse, or multifamily residential projects
  • Advanced Revit and BIM capabilities, with a strong understanding of model development and documentation standards
  • Experience producing construction documentation and supporting projects through delivery and construction phases
  • Strong communication, organizational, and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and within project teams
  • Knowledge of sustainable design principles; experience with multifamily housing, New York City projects, and local building codes is advantageous
  • Professional degree in Architecture required; LEED, Passive House, or other sustainability credentials are beneficial
