The Crowd is partnered with a globally acclaimed architecture and interior design practice that is seeking an Intermediate Architectural Designer to join its New York studio. Renowned for delivering exceptional projects across mixed-use, hospitality, cultural, and civic sectors, this multi award-winning practice is recognized for combining innovative design thinking with outstanding technical delivery.
This collaborative and design-led studio is looking for a talented Intermediate Architectural Designer with approximately 5+ years of professional experience. The successful candidate will have a passion for design, strong spatial planning skills, and the ability to contribute to compelling design narratives. A solid understanding of materiality, FF&E, and interior architecture is essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary project teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and evolution of architectural concepts, layouts, and spatial design strategies across a range of project typologies.
- Produce coordinated design packages including drawings, 3D models, visual studies, presentations, and project documentation
- Collaborate closely with interior designers, project managers, and consultant teams to maintain design intent and support project delivery
- Contribute across project phases from early design through construction administration, assisting with technical coordination and documentation
- Develop presentation materials and visual content that communicate project ideas clearly for internal and client-facing reviews
Key Skills / Requirements:
- Approximately 5+ years of professional experience across architecture or interiors
- Professional degree in Architecture or a related discipline
- Experience delivering projects across multiple phases, with built work experience preferred
- Strong proficiency in Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Cloud and experience to render in V-Ray or Enscape
- Understanding of interior architectural detailing, materials, finishes, and integrated design workflows is beneficial
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills with the ability to perform within fast-paced project environments
