Intermediate Hospitality Interior Designer

The Role:

Our client, a leading name internationally are looking for an Interior Designer with hospitality experience to join their multidisciplinary design studio.

Their team is comprised of talented, friendly designers who are heavily involved in all design phases from conception to completion, and are seeking a new intermediate-level team member to join them in their collaborative working style. Candidates should have a portfolio showing experience in hospitality projects, with strong documentation skills, and a team-oriented mindset. The initial focus of this role will be hospitality projects, but the role will expand into other typologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to all phases of design and see projects through to completion
• Work on projects across multiple typologies, with a focus on hospitality
• Coordinate directly with the client, consultants, vendors and other team members
• Work closely with lead designers on overall design direction
• Contribute to presentations and concept exploration through iterative design
• Involvement in FF&E including specs, schedules and custom drawings

Key Skills:

• A degree in Architecture or Interior Design
• Experience working on all design phases from SD-CA
• Commercial project experience within high-end multi-family, hospitality, and/or cultural projects
• Strong understanding of design documentation and detailing
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape and Adobe Suite
• Additional modeling program proficiencies would be considered an asset
• Comfortable working autonomously
