Intermediate Hospitality Interior Designer

The Role:

They are currently seeking a passionate and tenacious intermediate Interior Designer to contribute to the full scope of hospitality-focused projects, collaborating with team members and peers from the initial concept through construction administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and communicate throughout each step of the design process of hospitality focused projects, from initial concept through construction administration
  • Coordinate and develop FF&E packages and material selections
  • Create initial design sketches utilizing CAD software
  • Communicate effectively with contractors, clients, and vendors
  • Support and contribute to a positive working environment
  • Confidently represent the company externally

Key Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in interior design or related fields
  • 5+ years of post-graduate experience
  • Strong understanding of elevation and space planning documentation.
  • Notable experience within the hospitality sector (3+ years of experience)
  • Comprehensive understanding of FF&E, joinery, and detailing
  • High level of organizational skills
  • Confidence in sketching and presenting new ideas
  • High-level proficiencies with AutoCAD, Photoshop, and SketchUp
