Junior / Assistant Interior Designer (Sports)

About The Role:

A leading international architecture and design practice with offices globally is looking for a Junior / Assistant Interior Designer to join its London studio to focus on large scale sports and entertainment projects. Supporting senior team members, you will gain hands-on experience across the full design process, from early concepts and presentations through to technical documentation and project delivery. You will be involved in 3D modelling, visualisation, space planning, and FF&E coordination, developing both your technical and creative skills on complex, high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and delivery of projects across all RIBA stages
  • Assist with concept development, presentations, and design documentation
  • Produce 3D models, visualisations, and drawing packages using Revit and other design software
  • Contribute to space planning, material research, and FF&E coordination
  • Work collaboratively with senior designers and multidisciplinary project teams
  • Assist in preparing information for client presentations and internal design reviews
  • Support the production of technical documentation and project deliverables

Key Skills / Requirements:

  • Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture
  • Previous professional experience within an architectural or interior design practice
  • Sports and entertainment project experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Good understanding of RIBA work stages and design documentation
  • Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp/Enscape (or similar visualisation software)
  • Strong design, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn within a collaborative studio environment
