Mid-Level Designer

The Role:

The Crowd is currently collaborating with a multi-award winning, leading international interior and architectural firm that pioneers’ unique designs within the hospitality and residential sectors. This firm has earned acclaim for its distinctive approach, utilizing environmentally-conscious materials and building techniques.

They are seeking a well-rounded designer with a diverse range of experiences to handle various responsibilities, including participation in each phase of the design process from initial concept through final execution. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate and assist through the full scope of hospitality, commercial, and residential projects, from initial concept through construction administration
• Prepare design specifications including FF&E packages, space planning, lighting, and layouts
• Generate innovative conceptual designs (including 3D, 2D, and hand-drawn illustrations) for various project categories
• Spatial planning and interpretation of architectural blueprints
• Communicate with clients while managing expectations
• Create a project schedule and provide budget evaluations

Key Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in interior design
• Strong experience within the hospitality, commercial and residential sector
• Proficiency in project management, enabling the handling of multiple projects concurrently with the prompt delivery of meticulous, detailed, and precise drawings
• Advanced skills in AutoCAD, Vectorworks, SketchUp, Bluebeam, Rhino, and other software programs
• Strong demonstration of technical and creative skillset
• Strong interpersonal abilities
• Adept at guiding junior designers and collaborating effectively with senior colleagues in project settings
