Mid-Weight Interior Designer

About The Role:

We are working with a bespoke client that work on intricate, high-end residential projects and are looking for a talented Mid-Weight Interior Designer to join their team in West London.

The ideal candidate would be able to showcase an exemplary portfolio with previous high-end residential experience and have a proven track record of technical drawings and detailing to the highest standard. They are looking for an adaptable and approachable designer that thrives under pressure while maintaining a calm and professional approach. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the senior team to create and refine FF&E designs, furniture plans, and pricing for project approvals
  • Support the development of schedules and design intent packages to ensure alignment with the project brief
  • Assist in the design and cost estimation of FF&E projects in accordance with client requirements
  • Produce bespoke joinery and FF&E designs, including technical drawings
  • Work closely with contractors and suppliers to guarantee that design specifications and quality standards are met
  • Prepare and present client-facing materials, including presentations, mood boards, and concept visuals
  • Contribute to multiple projects under the direction of a Senior Designer and Director
  • Take the lead on smaller projects from concept to completion, with guidance from senior team members
  • Participate in client presentations alongside the senior team to support project delivery

Key Skills/Requirements:

  • A degree in Interior Design/ Architecture or relevant
  • 3 years professional experience is necessary for the role
  • Good communicative nature and prior experience interacting with clients
  • Proven track record working on projects with tight deadlines
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Sketchup is necessary for the role
  • Expertise in managing high-end residential FF&E procurement processes
