Mid-weight Interior Designer

About The Role:

A renowned multidisciplinary design studio with global reach is seeking a talented Midweight Interior Designer to join their London team. With a strong pipeline of international hospitality projects including high-end F&B, spas, and luxury hotel developments this role offers the opportunity to work at the highest level of interior design and contribute to award-winning projects from concept through to completion.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and technically proficient designer with a passion for materiality, craft, and refined hospitality interiors. The ideal candidate will bring 3 – 4 years of experience working across luxury or high-spec projects, with an interest in interior architecture, furniture, and FF&E.

Collaborating closely with a highly creative and supportive team, you’ll help drive the design and delivery of projects through all stages – from concept development and material research to detailed drawings and coordination with consultants and suppliers. You’ll play an integral role in shaping beautifully crafted spaces that balance creativity, function, and timeless design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of design concepts, mood boards, and narratives in response to site, client, and brand context
  • Collaborate with the project team and FF&E designers to refine the overall look and feel of the project
  • Assist in producing design presentations, drawing packages, and material specifications
  • Contribute to consultant coordination and supplier engagement
  • Help manage design communication with clients and external teams
  • Support the studio’s design process through research, sketches, technical input, and presentation development

Key Skills/Requirements:

  • 3–4 years’ experience, ideally with luxury or hospitality focus
  • Strong AutoCAD proficiency is essential
  • Confident in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Photoshop)
  • Working knowledge of SketchUp; hand sketching skills are a plus
  • Familiarity with Rhino and 3ds Max is a bonus
  • Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and joinery
  • A keen eye for detail, materiality, and technical resolution
  • Confident working collaboratively within a fast-paced, creative team
  • Eager to contribute creatively and technically across all phases of design
