Project Architect
About The Role:
A leading architecture firm with a strong national presence is seeking a Project Architect to join their new Los Angeles studio. Known for their innovative projects across the commercial, civic, and education sectors, this firm offers a unique opportunity to help shape the future of their LA office.
This hybrid role (3 days in the office, 2 days remote) provides the chance to work on diverse, large-scale projects and contribute to the growth of a highly collaborative, design-focused environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects from design through construction
- Prepare drawings, schedules, and specifications for a variety of project types
- Collaborate with the design team, consultants, and contractors
- Review submittals and shop drawings during the CA phase
- Create design presentation documents and renderings
- Research materials and specifications to enhance project outcomes
Key Skills/Requirements:
- Licensed Architect in California
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture
- 5+ years of experience working on commercial, civic, or education projects
- Proficiency in Revit and other relevant software
- Strong technical skills and a thorough understanding of construction
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with experience managing project teams
- Collaborative approach and passion for design innovation
