Project Architect (Healthcare)

About the Role:

We are partnering with an innovative architecture and design firm known for its integrated approach to shaping environments across healthcare, science, and education. With a strong national presence and a growing Southeast team, they are seeking a technically strong Project Architect to support the delivery of complex healthcare projects in and around Charlotte.

This role offers the chance to work within a multi-disciplinary studio that blends architecture, strategy, and engineering. You will play a key role in leading project documentation, coordination, and technical delivery while collaborating closely with internal teams and external consultants. The firm places a strong focus on design performance, future adaptability, and meaningful user experiences, making it a great match for someone who enjoys solving complex problems through thoughtful design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project coordination and documentation through all design phases, including construction
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure cohesive, well-executed project delivery
• Oversee consultant coordination, detailing, and technical integration
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and permitting processes
• Interface with clients and stakeholders to align project outcomes with goals
• Support junior team members and contribute to a strong team culture

Key Skills/Requirements:

• Professional experience in architecture (experience in healthcare or large-scale technical projects is a plus)
• Strong technical capabilities, with confidence delivering complex projects
• Proficiency in Revit and knowledge of BIM coordination workflows
• Comfortable navigating regulatory requirements, codes, and construction documents
• Registered Architect (or on track for licensure)
• Collaborative communicator with strong organizational skills
• Based in or willing to relocate to Charlotte (hybrid schedule available)
