Project Architect (Hospitality)

About The Role:

The Crowd is partnering with a globally recognized hospitality and resort design firm, they are looking to hire a Project Architect for their Dallas studio. With an extensive international portfolio spanning across multiple sectors our client brings together architecture and interiors to create highly considered destinations and experiences.

This opportunity is suited to a licensed architect with strong experience leading projects from design development through construction. Working closely with project leadership, clients, consultants, and contractors, you will take ownership of the technical delivery of projects while ensuring design intent is carried consistently through documentation, coordination, and construction.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with confident project leadership and communication skills. You will play an important role in coordinating multidisciplinary teams, overseeing documentation and mentoring team members while helping deliver complex projects within established budgets and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical development and documentation of architectural projects across design and construction phases
  • Translate overall design direction into coordinated, buildable architectural solutions while maintaining design quality throughout delivery
  • Coordinate architects, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders to resolve technical and design issues
  • Oversee drawing and specification packages, BIM coordination, and project documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Manage QA/QC reviews, technical detailing, code compliance, and construction administration processes
  • Lead coordination meetings and maintain clear communication across project teams, consultants, and clients
  • Provide direction, mentorship, and support to junior and intermediate team members
  • Assist with project planning, schedules, deadlines, and budgets to support successful project delivery

Key Skills / Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
  • Architectural licensure required
  • 10+ years of professional experience, with a strong track record delivering complex architectural projects
  • Experience across hospitality, resort, mixed-use, renovation, or similarly complex project types strongly preferred
  • Advanced understanding of architectural detailing, building systems, construction methods, building codes, and project delivery
  • Strong Revit proficiency required; experience with Rhino, SketchUp, AutoCAD, or other 3D modeling platforms advantageous
  • Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and overseeing technical project delivery
  • Confident client-facing communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Previous experience mentoring or supervising architectural staff
  • Willingness to travel as required for project needs
