Project Architect (San Francisco)

A highly respected national architecture firm is seeking a Project Architect to join their established San Francisco studio. As a key player in the design and delivery process, you will lead complex projects from concept through construction, collaborating with a talented team of architects, designers, and consultants. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects from concept through construction, ensuring design integrity and technical precision
  • Develop detailed drawings, schedules, and specifications for a range of project types
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project teams to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Oversee the construction administration phase, including submittal reviews and site visits
  • Prepare compelling design presentations and project documentation
  • Conduct materials research to drive innovation and sustainability in project outcomes

Key Skills/Requirements:

  • Licensed Architect in California
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture
  • 7-10 years of experience in commercial, civic, or education projects
  • Advanced Revit proficiency with strong technical expertise
  • Deep understanding of construction methods, materials, and detailing
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with experience mentoring junior architects
  • Passion for design excellence and innovation in the built environment
